We provide courses for first responder and EMT certification. Our officers are trained in the skills of observation and report writing. All officers are also taught the continuum of force, defensive tactics and the proper use of weapons. Officers are licensed and undergo extensive background checks with CCIC and NCIC as well as regular drug screens.
Union Colony Protective Services Inc. understands the concerns that all businesses face. Some of our officers have extensive backgrounds in law enforcement. Our company operates much like a police department. Supervisors are only promoted after they have successfully completed a year of satisfactory service and pass exams that require them to know state statutes, liquor laws and local ordinances as well as supervisor/management skills. All of our officers are required to attend classes taught by police officers to obtain their licenses. In addition, officers are trained and certified to carry weapons. Officers are required to attend ongoing training classes. We have been in business since 1987 and have concentrated our efforts to expand and improve our company throughout Colorado |
